Technical Water Feeding Pipeline between the Rozov Kladenec Dam, and the Maritsa East 3 PTT
As per the Contract with Enel Maritsa East 3 for construction supervision for site Technical Water Feeding Pipeline between the Rozov Kladenec Dam, and the Maritsa East 3 TPP, we performed the following:
- Conformity assessment of the project and the existing construction works requirements
- Document preparation for issuance of a Construction Permit
- Construction supervision
- Quantity and quality control of the used materials;
- Quantity and quality control of the works done
- Supervision/witnessing during functional tests
- Document preparation for appointment of a State Acceptance Commission
- Relation with Government Authorities and the municipal administration
- Participating in the Commissioning.
Additional Information
The pipeline comprised two parallel fibreglass pipes with diameters Ø 800 and Ø 600, and replaced the existing steel pipeline. The superseding was done in order to avoid the passage of the pipeline through the village of Obruchishte. The pipes were laid groovelessly over a sand layer. 6 foundation blocks were build at the horizontal bends, and at the diameter change of the pipeline in order to compensate for the dynamic loads.
The route starts after the foundation block at the north east end of the Rozov Kladenec Dam and reaches the Enel Maritsa East 3 TPP. The crossings under the railway lines and the Galabovo-Mednikarovo road was done by horizontal drilling. The length of the pipeline's route is 13,000 m
